People

Eidolon's founder is Jason Fosback. A long-time Apple Enterprise advocate, Jason has been involved in the OPENSTEP community since 1991.

An experienced leader with lots of development and management expertise, Jason is skilled at building and operating divisions and companies focused on attracting highly talented contributors. He has comprehensive knowledge of object-oriented technologies, development processes and methodologies.

Author of several sophisticated applications, Jason also has a wide variety of professional, large-scale development and consulting experience. Some of his clients include the Department of Defense, AT&T Wireless, and the US Postal Service, three of the largest development projects using Apple Enterprise technology.

At the US Postal Service, Jason acted as the project manager. He led a crack team of OPENSTEP developers to develop one of the most sophisticated, well-designed call center applications in record time. Utilizing OPENSTEP for NT, PDO for Solaris, EOF 2.x, and WebObjects 3.x, the team created a cross-platform, high-volume architecture and suite of applications capable of servicing over 200 million US citizens around the nation, as well as 40,000 post offices with varying degrees of connectivity.

At AT&T Wireless, Jason helped design and implement the current suite of applications used in production. A very robust, three-tier system, the Axys products have served AT&T Wireless well over the years.
